Sean, Roastmaster General at Mighty Oak Roasters, delivered the roast curve for a semi-washed arabica-1 from Sumatra. The Sumatra was sourced from the Sidikalang PODA Coffee Group. Sean roasted the semi-washed coffee on a Ghibli R15 Woodfired with a 4mm bean probe and 6mm environmental probe. When it comes to taste, Sean notes the following: complex and syrupy, notes of licorice, clove, dark chocolate.
