Non-certified coffee is coffee which is not certified by a third party. It is part of our vision that all coffee is made in balance with the natural environment and the people involved throughout the supply chain are treated fairly.
There may be many reasons why a coffee is not certified. Often the farmers can not afford pesticide or the certification therefore a surprising amount of Non-Certified coffee is by default organic. Also for the certification to be valid, every organisation down the supply chain must become certified, in certain circumstances this is unfortunately not always possible, and we don’t want that to prevent us working together with valuable smallholders.
