Our Offices

Amsterdam, Addis Ababa, Minneapolis.

Trabocca operates from three main office locations across the globe: Amsterdam, Addis Ababa, and Minneapolis. From these, we are managing coffee deliveries worldwide. Each office plays a unique role in our work. Get to know each location and better understand our operations.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is home to founder Menno Simons and the first home of Trabocca. Established in 2003, our headquarters bring together Trade, Quality, Logistics, and African Sourcing, alongside our Sustainability and Marketing desks. From here, we serve roasters across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The cupping lab is our natural meeting point, where all come together to align and calibrate. Located next to Amsterdam Central Station, it offers a beautiful view over the IJ River toward Noord.

Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa was the second Trabocca office to open in 2005 and is the heart of our operations. Located in the buzzing Kazanchis business district, close to the UN headquarters, it is home to an experienced local team allowing us to secure the best Ethiopian coffees.

The team focuses on Sourcing, Quality, and Logistics, maintaining close supplier relationships and a true boots-on-the-ground presence. From seed to export, they monitor quality, draw samples directly at suppliers’ warehouses, calibrate protocols and sensory standards, supervise every container stuffing, and ensure a smooth, reliable flow of exceptional coffee.

Minneapolis

Opened in 2013, the Minneapolis office serves as Trabocca’s North American hub. Located just outside downtown Minneapolis, it offers a homey atmosphere and a highly calibrated, closely coordinated team. The office brings together expertise in Trade, Quality, Logistics, and Sourcing for Latin American origins. Supported by satellite offices in Chicago and Portland, the team manages and distributes coffees across both the East and West Coasts, serving customers throughout the United States and Canada.
